BOX100/120-USB: MAP analyzer with USB data logging
What it is for and who uses it
The BOX100/120-USB is an analyzer for measuring modified atmospheres in food packaging, in BOX100 (O₂) or BOX120 (O₂ and CO₂) version, with a traceability function. According to the VIGAZ data sheet, it stores measurements in its internal memory and the data are recorded in a file that can be used directly in Excel without any external software. The operator can program different products to retrieve one file per product and per day. The connected USB key retrieves the data, empties the memory and avoids any cabling.

Data according to the manufacturer's (VIGAZ) technical data sheet.
How it is used, according to the data sheet: insert the needle through a septum and press "P"; the pump draws the sample for the programmed time, an hourglass shows the progress of the measurement and, once the reading has stabilised, it is locked on the display and the values are stored in memory. There is no need to draw in air between one measurement and the next.
Position in the range
What sets it apart, according to the VIGAZ data sheets: it is the only model in the range that records measurements in memory and exports them via a USB key. It has an 8-line digital display, is powered at 230 V - 50/60 Hz and offers a rechargeable 12 V battery option. Its O₂ resolution is 0.1 %, compared with 0.01 % for the BOX100 II and BOX120 II.
