How to choose a gas analyzer for MAP packaging
Two variables for comparing the models
The comparison of gas analyzers for MAP packaging in this range is based on two objective variables:
- Portable or benchtop. The first criterion is the format of the instrument.
- O₂ only or dual O₂ + CO₂. The second criterion is the gases: oxygen only (O₂) or carbon dioxide (CO₂) as well.
The four models in the VIGAZ range
The VIGAZ range covers all four combinations of these decisions:
| Model | Format | Gases |
|---|---|---|
| CANAL111 II | Portable | O₂ |
| CANAL121 III | Portable | O₂ + CO₂ |
| BOX100 II | Benchtop | O₂ |
| BOX120 II | Benchtop | O₂ + CO₂ |

How to compare the models
The table cross-references the two variables in the range: equipment format (portable or benchtop) and gases measured (O₂ only or O₂ and CO₂). The technical data sheets contain the available details for each model.
