CANAL121 III - portable O₂ and CO₂ analyzer
What it is for and who uses it
The CANAL121 III is a portable, rechargeable analyzer that measures residual oxygen and CO₂. According to the VIGAZ data sheet, it is used to measure protective atmospheres in all types of food packaging and atmospheres in fruit storage rooms. It is designed for occasional use in small-scale production and allows quick, mobile checks. It switches off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity and is recharged by placing it on its base.

How it is used, according to the data sheet: insert the needle through a septum and press "P"; the pump draws the sample for the programmed time, an hourglass shows the progress of the measurement and, once the reading has stabilised, it is locked on the display. There is no need to draw in air between one measurement and the next.
