GOLF100/120 II: continuous online MAP gas analyzer (VIGAZ)
What it is for and who uses it
The GOLF100/120 II is a VIGAZ analyzer that works continuously (online), designed for modified atmosphere packaging machines: the GOLF100 version measures O₂ and the GOLF120 version measures O₂ and CO₂. According to the VIGAZ data sheet, it is a dual-function instrument: it continuously checks the quality of the gas mixture at the outlet of the packaging machine or mixer, and it can also take spot measurements of the modified atmosphere in packs. VIGAZ states that it measures the gas at the injection nozzles of packaging machines or the pressurised gas leaving a mixer.

Data according to the manufacturer's (VIGAZ) technical data sheet.
According to the data sheet, calibration or a sampling measurement is carried out on the front panel during production, without faulting your equipment.
Position in the range
What sets it apart, according to VIGAZ: it is the model in the range that measures continuously. The CANAL models (such as the CANAL121 III or the CANAL100/120 II) and the BOX models (such as the BOX120 II or the BOX100/120-USB) are sample-based: the pack is pierced through a septum and the pump draws the headspace gas. The GOLF100/120 II measures the O₂ and CO₂ levels of the gas at all times, so any drift is detected immediately; its two alarms with cut-off relays can control external equipment and its analogue outputs allow integration into supervisory systems. A single data sheet covers the GOLF100 (O₂) and GOLF120 (O₂ and CO₂) versions.
Documentation and contact
Request a quotation or the GOLF100/120 II technical data sheet. Tell us which packaging machine or mixer you want to monitor, whether the gas is supplied under pressure and whether you need to measure O₂ only or CO₂ as well.
- Minimum order: you can order a single analyzer. We do not have a demonstration unit; we send you the data sheet.
- Consumables: we supply adhesive septa, needles and filters, which also fit the GOLF100/120 II.
- Calibration and repairs: VIGAZ carries them out directly at its VISCIANO facilities in France. The annual factory calibration usually takes about 3–4 days.
